The Department conducts analytical work and research in the field of science and technology policy, prepares proposals on tools and mechanisms for the development of Russian science. Considering best international practices and Russian specifics, the Department supports Skoltech in its interaction with governmental authorities in decision-making in the field of science and technology policy in Russia. It monitors trends in the development of world science, interacts with the diaspora of Russian scientists on the tools and mechanisms of reforming Russian science.
