Skoltech FabLab and Machine Shop Research Facilities Center was established in 2018 based on the Student Masterskaya to support educational programs, student projects and scientific and industrial initiatives, and provide services to the Skolkovo ecosystem participants and external customers. The center is equipped with a wide range of machines and tools for the production, modification, repair and upgrading of products made from diverse materials, and the development of electronic devices and automated process management systems. 

FabLab’s equipment, which includes machines with precision quality better than 2μm is operated by a team of highly skilled professionals, ensuring fast and efficient project delivery. FabLab is fast to respond to various types of requests, including complex projects, which allows the customers to quickly receive finished products and/or make changes in the prototypes to meet their scientific or industrial needs.
