Cancer remains a leading cause of mortality globally, including in Russia. Yet, there is progress in this battle: Each year introduces innovative methods aimed not just at treating but also at preventing these conditions. As part of this global effort, we invite you to a lecture and Q&A on cancer prevention.

Assistant Professor Vera Rybko from the Bio Center will share critical information about cancer, methodologies for personal risk assessment, and preventive actions. Vera holds a PhD in biological sciences, specializing in oncology. She is the deputy director for development at the Bio Center, as well as the director of the Life Sciences master’s program. Her previous engagements include positions at the Cancer Research Center and the Skolkovo Foundation.
