Universal fully optical logic element
Invention relates to fully optical logic elements implemented using the concept of non-equilibrium condensation of exciton-polaritons into a non-basic state. The fully optical logic element includes an organic semiconductor sample placed in a microresonator with a Q-factor in the range from 500 to 600, a coherent source of continuous optical pumping to form an exciton reservoir by non-resonant excitation of the sample, with a pump beam energy to provide a condition for spontaneous condensation of exciton polaritons from an exciton reservoir, a source of radiation of one or two seed pulse beams to stimulate the relaxation process of a hot exciton into a non-basic state of the lower polariton branch.
