Andreas Panayi, Professor of the Practice at the Skoltech Center for Digital Engineering, delivered an online lecture to GazpromNeft-Zapolyarye employees, offering an overview of digital twin technologies, their applications, and the challenges and risks involved in their implementation.

"In the lecture, I shared insights on how digital twins have been applied in the aerospace industry to tackle complex technical challenges, supporting on-time aircraft certification and ensuring reliable aircraft operations. I also highlighted current digital twin developments at the Cyber-Physical Systems Laboratory, including the Lastochka Predictive Analytics System, the Smart-Rails System, and the Predictive Analytics Demonstrator (tPAD). The audience responded positively, as these technologies align with their goals for future development and operational integration".
