PhD student Oleg Sautenkov from the Engineering Systems program received an award for his outstanding project titled 'Using LLMs to Control Agents in MMORPGS' during the summer school on artificial intelligence held by AIRI.
"In the framework of this summer school, our team of five people created an LLM-agent for controlling a character within a MMORPG game over the course of ten days. The hero himself gathers information and analyzes it using large language models, as explained by Oleg Sautenkov."
"Why is that interesting? Because LLM-agents can also serve as a link in complex robotic systems. This direction is relatively new. We can try to infuse artificial intelligence not only into standard information systems that previously written in code, but also into sophisticated robotics. Using LLM-agents makes working with them easier and faster to create."
Head of the Intelligent Space Robotics Lab. (Skoltech Center for Digital Engineering), Associate Professor Dzmitry Tsetserukou is Oleg's scientific supervisor.
