Assistant Professor at the Hierarchically Structured Materials Laboratory (Skoltech Center for Digital Engineering) Alexey Salimon gave a presentation on 'Materials Performance Indices for Engineering Applications: Multi-Scale Structuring and Emerging Hierarchical Materials' at the IX International Congress 'Engineering, Environment, and Materials in Process Industry' (EEM2025), which was held in Bijeljina (Republic Serpska) by the University of East Sarajevo, Faculty of Technology in Zvornik.

Dr. Salimon spoke about the application of the Ashby Method, which is based on the system of materials selection through analyzing their structure at different levels. The method helps to predict the properties of new materials and select methods of their microstructuring.
