Master's student Valentin Tikhonenko presented the paper “Leveraging Models to Support Stakeholder Communication” at The 19th Annual IEEE International Systems Conference (SYSCON 2025) in Montreal, Canada.
Valentin Tikhoneko, Master's student in the «Engineering Systems» program, Optimal Enterprise Group (Skoltech Center for Digital Engineering)
"I talked about a method for representing a system model. The idea is that the product (or project) under development is described in a concise way, allowing anyone to quickly get into the essence and general context. If necessary, the method allows going deeper into a specific part and clarifying details.
The method is intended for small teams (startups in particular) to fix the architecture of the future system (device, service, etc.). So that all project stakeholders equally understand what is being developed: what components it consists of and how these components interact.
The idea is to transfer schemes from flipcharts to a digital and formal form. Such a transfer allows for more efficient preservation of knowledge about the system and its sharing."
Valentin's scientific supervisor Mikhail Belov, Professor of the Practice, Head of Optimal Enterprise Group (Skoltech Center for Digital Engineering).
