Irina Gayda, the deputy director of the Energy Transition Center, joined the People Matter: Businesses Investing in the Future forum, which focused on topics related to green energy. Irina noted that the energy transition path is now shifting toward keeping a balance between environmental benefits and energy security. Irina also suggested that Russia could develop hydropower facilities more actively in the eastern part of the country and emphasized a high potential of renewable energy sources and hydrocarbons.
