Skoltech hosted the participants of the 22nd Diplomatic Seminar for Young Experts organized by the Gorchakov Fund. Irina Gayda, the deputy director of the Energy Transition Center, introduced green technology for the sustainable development of Russia. She spoke about decarbonization of the world economy and countries’ efforts to diversify energy suppliers. Irina put a spotlight on renewable energy and argued that Russia has still fulfilled only 20% of its potential in hydropower.
