Irina Gayda, the deputy director of the Energy Transition Center, joined the BRICS Congress on Ecology and Climate Change in Sirius, Russia. Irina shared her expertise at the session on technological innovations for clean energy co-organized by Gazprom Neft, led a master class for young ecologists, and delivered a lecture on the risks and opportunities of climate change for energy companies. The congress brought together experts and young researchers and focused on three areas of the environmental agenda: research on climate risks, technologies to address environmental challenges, and preservation of natural heritage.
