Meet Yaroslav Savotin, a master's student in the Engineering Systems program. He came to Skoltech from Novosibirsk State Technical University, where he studied at the Department of Materials Science in Mechanical Engineering.

"After completing my bachelor’s degree, I decided to change the track and pursue my passion for space technology. I have always been fascinated by advanced technologies for space engineering. When I was looking for a university for my master's degree, I learned that Skoltech team had launched two Cubesat spacecraft of its own design. That's why I was drawn to the Space track of Skoltech's Engineering Systems program. After being admitted, I joined the team of the Microsatellite Laboratory, where I plan to continue my research activities in orientation systems and stabilization of spacecraft. After graduation, I plan to work in the industry, specifically one of the private space companies in Russia that have been actively developing over the past few years."
