At Skolkovo Startup Village 2025, students gathered for a pitch session titled “Positive Technological Entrepreneurship,” which was led by Skoltech, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), and the Skolkovo Foundation. Ten startups presented their ideas and received feedback from experts and investors.
“Today’s pitch session is a platform for individuals striving for financial success who also seek to make a positive impact on the world through their business initiatives,” said Anna Starkova, the session moderator and the head of incubation and acceleration at the Skoltech Entrepreneurship Center, in her introduction of the positive entrepreneurship concept.
The participants had four minutes to present their projects, followed by four more minutes of feedback from experts and investors from the Moscow Exchange, Gazprombank, RDIF, the Skolkovo Foundation, and venture funds. The ten startups present included:
VR Inclusion (Sechenov University, Moscow) — Russia’s first VR therapy application for autism spectrum disorders;
Collamelad (Skoltech, Moscow) — innovative functional and therapeutic nutrition for patients with phenylketonuria;
Tongo Test (Sechenov University, Moscow) — rapid diagnosis and therapy of migraine;
Emultechnologies (Kazan National Research Technological University) — an innovative asphalt adhesion promoter;
Hyperspectrus (Skoltech, Moscow) — hyperspectral visualization systems for biomedicine;
Seed’OS (Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy) — a portable weather station for more economical and efficient crop cultivation;
Meeting Moments (MIPT, Moscow) — AI for filling out medical documentation;
Modified Polymers (MIPT, Moscow) — a technology for modifying epoxy resins used to manufacture epoxy materials;
Save My Milk (Sechenov University, Moscow) — a device for preparing baby food and gently pasteurizing breast milk;
ARSY (Skoltech, Moscow) — a digital AR training platform for engineering personnel that simulates various emergencies, ensures safe communication with trainees, and evaluates their actions.
Investors and experts provided feedback on each presentation, offered useful tips to the speakers on improving their technology products and pitches, and invited collaborations.
Earlier, the positive entrepreneurship concept was presented by Kirill Dmitriev, the CEO of RDIF and the special presidential representative for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries. During a meeting with Skoltech students, Dmitriev proposed establishing student clubs at the top ten Russian universities to connect students interested in combining technology with business and investment. “We believe that positive entrepreneurship can help technology entrepreneurs develop their ideas and startups,” he said.
