This event highlighted student startups focusing on social technologies. Ten student teams were given the opportunity to pitch their ideas, each having 90 seconds to persuade a panel of experts from non-profit organizations about the viability, relevance, and practicality of their concepts.

The projects that stood out and received support include:

  • iTracker (1st place, 110,000 rubles): An assistive eye-tracking system designed for paralyzed individuals, enabling them to communicate, control computers, and operate robotic arms, thereby enhancing their ability to interact with the world.

  • Monoclonal Pipette (2nd place, 90,000 rubles): Aimed at significantly improving the process of working with monoclonal cell lines crucial for developing vaccines, antibodies, and cancer drugs. This project seeks to enhance precision in handling individual cells, leading to more effective targeted therapies and cost reductions for researchers and biotech companies.

  • ResQ (3rd place, 60,000 rubles): A portable module for more efficient search and rescue operations using drones. It's equipped with a hyperspectral camera and artificial intelligence, boosting the effectiveness of search operations.

Additionally, the KidneyAI project earned the audience favorite award (20,000 rubles). It's an app based on computer vision technology that reduces the time needed for kidney morphometry, aiding doctors in obtaining crucial characteristics of microscopic samples.

The Skoltech Triple Point program, established in 2021 at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, is dedicated to supporting student entrepreneurship. Over the past two years, it has involved 130 teams and has allocated funding to over 23 innovative projects, with a total of around 3.5 million rubles. This underscores the program’s commitment to fostering startups and technological solutions that address social challenges.
