"We are investigating control, positioning and planning systems for drones under the assumption that they are travelling at high speeds. We are currently preparing a paper for a conference where we will talk about the implementation of an algorithm for overtaking drones. So far everything is only in the initial stages, but the team is now actively working on boosting the speed of flight", said Sausar Karaf, PhD student of the Intelligent Space Robotics Lab (Skoltech's Centre for System Design).

"Our ultimate goal is to implement the racing of a swarm of drones at high speed being fully autonomous", says Head of lab,  Associate Professor Dzmitry Tsetserukou.
