In this seminar Prof. Mailis will discuss the use of laser radiation as a tool for the spatially selective synthesis of materials in ambient conditions, and show some recent results on the growth of various 2D semiconductors, which we have obtained in the laboratory of hybrid photonics at Skoltech.
